Vintage Seiko women’s automatic Hi-Beat powered by the 2205 movement, 21 jewels. Reference 2205-9240 with serial 173148.
Compact 23mm stainless steel case, classic late 1960s / early 1970s Seiko design. Silver sunburst dial with applied pyramid markers and date at 3 with magnifier.
Dial marked “21 Jewels Hi-Beat” and “Japan 2205.” Caseback marked stainless steel with water resist designation.
Appears to run in a short test. Service history unknown. Accuracy and power reserve not tested. Crystal shows noticeable scratches. Case and bracelet show honest wear consistent with age.
At 23mm this wears true vintage proportions and is ideal for smaller wrists or collectors of early Seiko ladies Hi-Beat models.
